Aptos Little League Needs Volunteers Like You!
Aptos Little League is an all-volunteer organization, dependent upon our community's support. All parents/guardians are encouraged to volunteer for one or several roles in Aptos Little League such as Manager, Coach, Sponsor, Team Parent, Field Prep, Scorekeeper, Snack Shack and more.
If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the online
Volunteer Application in your Aptos Little League account and select which role(s) you are volunteering for.
Aptos Little League Volunteers both new and returning (meaning any parent, guardian, volunteer or adult that steps foot on any field, whether it's a practice, game, the booth, the snack shack or any Little League function) will need to complete the following:
Background Check
USA Baseball Abuse Awareness for Adults (Instructions can be found here)
All Coaches and managers will be contacted by our coaching coordinator, but both new and returning, are required to complete the following in addition to what is listed above.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training

*NEW FOR 2024- LIVE SCAN REQUIREMENTS*
Per state law, in order to be eligible to participate as a little league volunteer, volunteers are now
REQUIRED to perform a live scan background check. Additional information regarding this requirement can be found
here.
Please note that all volunteers are responsible for the cost of their live scan.
Volunteers will need to print and complete the attached form and can go to the following facilities to complete the fingerprinting, in order to volunteer, this must be completed by 3/31/24:

How do I become a Manager for Aptos Little League?
Answer:
For Majors and AAA Divisions, the Deadline to apply is January 15th, 2024.

Majors and AAA Manager Selection Process
STEP ONE
Prospective Managers submit their “Request to Manage” by sending an email detailing their experience:
1) What is your previous experience coaching (any sport)?
2) What is your coaching philosophy?
3) What do you hope to accomplish by the end of the season?
Please submit your email to [email protected] to be reviewed by the committee. Be sure to indicate Majors or AAA.
STEP TWO
Register with Aptos LL AND complete an online Volunteer Application. Be sure to select “Manager” when filling out your Volunteer Application AND complete a Background Check.
STEP THREE
Wait for notification from the Commissioner.
Tee Ball, Farm, A and AA Manager Selection Process
Step 1: Register with Aptos LL AND complete an Online Volunteer Application. Be sure to select “Manager” when filling out your Volunteer Application. Division Commissioners select the Managers, first from the pool of online Volunteer Applications and then, if needed, Managers are “recruited" from parents within the Division.
Step 2: Complete a Background Check.
Step 3: Wait for notification from the Commissioner.
